Soap Storage and Expiration:

Handcrafted soaps generally have a shelf life of 1 to 2 years depending on the oils used. Being that we scent our soap naturally with essential oils, the longer you wait to use the soap the more the essential oil scent will evaporate and fade. Therefore we highly recommend using the soap within 3-6 months to provide the best aromatic experience. To maximize the longevity of the soap, keep soap in a dry place after each use. Consider using a soap dish with drainage holes or a hanging soap bag to get more from your soap.

Body Butter Storage and Expiration:

Our handcrafted body butters have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months depending on how well the body butter is being cared for. Being that we scent our products with essential oils, the longer you wait to use the product the more the essential oil scent will evaporate and fade. Therefore we highly recommend using the body butter within 6 months to provide the best aromatic experience. To maximize the life of the body butter, keep butter stored in a cool dry dark area. Use a scoop rather than fingers to avoid introducing bacteria into the butter. Do not keep product near heat sources as this product melts at 90F. If it is this temperature at home please store it in the refrigerator. It will harden at colder temperatures so let it get back to room temperature for the right consistency.
